Jekada Widows and Youth Educational Foundation (JWYEF) was established the 2015 with the aims of resolving and promoting educational development and excellence in order to improve the living conditions of the exploited and less privileged in society particularly widows and youths, to fully develop the potential regardless of gender, and ethnicity, or religion.
Our Vision
To resolve and promote educational excellence of youths and improve the living conditions of widows in society.
Our Mission
A society where every person can strive regardless of social status and can develop to their full potential unbiased.
Our Goal
To give widows and youths opportunities to attend economic and educational excellence to improve the living conditions of the exploited and less privileged in society.

Aims
- To promote educational development and excellence
- To assist the less privileged in society, particularly widows and youths.
- To promote peaceful co-existence and unity.
- To empower widows and youths through scholarship, training, capacity building, and skill acquisition.
- To promote the welfare of the less privileged in the society generally.
Objectives
- To reduce youth unemployment rate with skills acquisition
- o address the special needs of widows, by providing them with the opportunities to develop to their full capacity.
- To advocate for their human right and undertake sustainable solutions to build resilience.
- To help widows and youth achieve freedom from poverty, live in dignity, enjoy their human rights, and realize their full potential.
- To help widows and youths build economic and social resilience.
THE FOUNDER
Air Cdre Emmanuel Kabirat Jekada was born in Madakiya, near Kafanchan, Kaduna State. He attended Basawa Teachers’ College, Zaria and joined the Nigerian Air Force as a potential Pilot Cadet and Member of Cadet’s Military Training Course 2 (CMTC) in 1977. He was commissioned as a regular combatant officer in the rank of Pilot Officer in 1980. His qualifications amongst others, include, Master in Business Administration (MBA), Master in International Relations and Strategic Studies (MIRSS) and a Ph.D. in International Relations and Strategic Studies. He is a Fellow, Institute of Professional Financial Managers, London (FIPFM) and six (6) other professional bodies.
The Jekada Widows and Youth Educational Foundation (JWYEF) was established in 2015 with the aim of resolving and promoting educational development and excellence in order to improve the living conditions of the exploited and less privileged in the society particularly widows and youths, to fully develop their potential regardless of gender, and ethnicity, or religion.
The passion of given out has always being an integral part of me as a humanitarian bringing in to light this course was a milestone for especially to women and young people who are vulnerable in our society.
